How to Maintain Your Sanity in Today's World
A wise man once said, "The times they are a-changin'" and these days that doesn't seem so far from the truth. Amidst all that is going on, and apparently no matter where you are in this world, we have all come to face new realities. Here at Fortify, our primary focus has been to spread health through simple innovations that contribute to the idea of a healthy mind, body, and spirit. As it stands now, we are all faced with the same understanding. That is that our lives, our routines and to some extent our freedom is changed for an unknown amount of time. Considering this, we now all face a new state of well being that mostly compounds a heightened sense of anxiety, stress, and fear. Although this is perfectly normal with all that is going on, the most important thing that Fortify has come to realize is that our goal is to bring you some form of solace in a time where things seem to be spiraling. |

Although our normal routines are no longer our normal routines, there is one thing that resilient in all of us, and that is humanity's remarkable capability to pivot, redirect, and adapt. That's why it is our mission is to help bring you structure in a time where people may need it the most. By focusing our attention towards exercise, your body will find itself creating a natural defense against the onslaught of anxiety, tension, and/or fear you may be currently experiencing. Allowing yourself this time will not only restore your balance, but it will also prevent you from feeling confined and/or claustrophobic. |

By practicing both exercise and breathing simultaneously, you will begin to take notice that your body will find its equilibrium because you are allowing your body to purge itself of debilitating factors that are keeping most of us up at night. The next time you feel like the walls are closing in on you or that your anxiety is slowly starting to creep up, remember that exercise has always proven to be the main catalyst of a sound mind. Now is the time to practice your best judgement by taking the time each and every day to release unwarranted stress. Stay well and remain healthy.
